When you use a managed AHK workstation the new AHKprinter or AHKprinterMac will automatically be installed on your system at first logon.
When you use a semi-managed AHK workstation you need to install the AHKprinter or AHKprinterMac yourself.
This instruction applies when you are logged in with your OS X / macOS computer to the AHK network.
1. Download here he OS X / macOS driver. Save locally.
2. Open System Preferences via the Apple menu at the upper left corner of your screen.
3. Click on [Printers & Scanners].
4. Click on the plus-button (+) to add a new printer.
5. Right-click on the menu bar of window below and select [Customize toolbar…].
6. Drag and drop the Advanced button on your toolbar and click on [Done].
7. Click on [Advanced].
8. Select Type: LPD/LPR Host or -printer and Device: Another device.
9. In the URL field type: lpd://AHK-ID@AHKSRV232.ahk.nl/AHKprinterMac
Replace AHK-ID with your personal user name on the AHK network.
For example: lpd://j.janssen@AHKSRV232.ahk.nl/AHKprinterMac
10. In the Name field type: AHKprinterMac and in the Location field: AHK.
11. In the Use field select: Other… and browse to the file that you have saved locally in step 1. Click
on [Open].
12. Click on [Add] and click on [OK].
13. Finally set the AHKprinterMac as your default printer.
You are now ready to use the AHKprinterMac from your applications!
